CU’s Corey Bleaken Claims National Wrestling Title

Cumberland University’s Corey Bleaken claimed the school’s first individual wrestling national championship since 2005 with a 4-3 overtime victory Saturday over No. 3 Thomas Straughn of Notre Dame College at the 54th Annual NAIA Wrestling National Championships at the US Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Saturday night.  Read more.

Alexander named TSWA College Coach of the Year

Cumberland University football coach Dewayne Alexander was named the College Football Coach of the Year by the Tennessee      Sportswriters Association (TSWA) this week after helping the Bulldogs to an 8-3 record in 2010.  Read more here.

CU Wrestling Team Ranked 6th in latest NAIA Poll
